Over the years there have been quite a few members who have since become famous in their own rights :-

David Ross
David was the original Kryten and the voice of the talkie toaster in Red Dwarf, he has since appeared in numerous television programmes and films including :-
Station Jim (2001) - Chambers
Oliver Twist (1999) - Mr Bumble
Roger Roger (1998) - Baz
Vanity Fair (1998) - Mr Sedley
Cold Enough for Snow (1997) - Bevis Whittle
Eskimo Day (1996) (TV) - Bevis Whittle
Boys from the Blackstuff (1980) - Donald Moss
He has appeared in a number of West End Theatre productions - in particular the lead in "An Inspector Calls" by J B Priestley and he is currently appearing the new stage musical of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" alongside Michael Ball.

Steven Pinder
Steven is best known for portraying Max Farnham in Brookside since 1990. Previous to this he played Roy Lambert in the original series of Crossroads from 1985 to 1987. |
Carol Starks
Carol Starks
Carol started out with our Junior section "Gemini" in the late 1970s, early 1980s and also appeared in some of the pantomimes the Club presented at the Community Theatre in Blackburn.
She is now an accomplished Actress having appeared in "Reckless" alongside Robson Green, The mini-series "Best of Both Worlds" and most recently "Red Cap" alongside Tamzin Outhwaite.

Madge Hindle
Madge Hindle
Madge was born in Blackburn and first started at the Arts Club along with her husband Michael - she is best known for playing Alf Robert's first wife Renee Roberts in Coronation Street.
