Divide the page into 2 columns, and four rows ( row per quarter )
Whoever takes first centre pass becomes EVENS. I.e if red team wins first centre pass, they are marked as EVEN, blue team as ODD.
Mark score as 1,2,3,4,5 etc not as a tally chart
The score will then tell you who's centre pass, dependant on whether odd or even number.
For example, red lead 4 goals to 2. Add 4 + 2 = 6 = EVEN, its red centre pass as they are on "evens" Red lead 13 goals to 4. Add 13 + 4 = 17 = ODD, its blue centre pass, as they were marked as "odds" at the start.
At the end of a quarter if the ball is in play change the odds and the evens over. If the ball is still in the centre's hands for centre pass, move the odds and evens down to next quarter and remains the same.
