Secretary: George Holmes
George was elected to serve on committee on 19th. March 1990. Prior to being secretary he was publicity officer for the society. He has been Secretary since 1992 and in addition to his secretarial duties he handles all the concert bookings for the society. He lives in Bolton and has a Yamaha EL70 & PSR740 keyboard. He likes all types of music and sounds (except the head banging). George was made a life member in 2001 in recognition of his services to the society as Secretary.

Treasurer: Jessi Horridge
Jessie joined the Society in 2001 and plays a PSR500 keyboard. She is a member of the Operetta company and one of the founder members of 5 Saints Theatre company. Hobbies apart from music are singing, knitting and reading. |
Membership Secretary: Sylvia Richmond
Sylvia has served on committee since soon after joining the society in 1999. She took on the responsibility of Membership Secretary in January 2007. |
Trevor Gerrard
Trevor looks after our raffle arrangements during the concert interval. With his wife Maureen they are responsible for the purchase and organisation of the monthly Raffle prizes. Trevor has played musical instruments since he was seven years old starting with the violin which he played in Wigan Youth Orchestra, he then went on to the guitar and banjo, but he now plays a Roland Atelier AT 50.

Maureen Gerrard
With husband Trevor she is responsible for the purchase and organisation of the monthly Raffle prizes. Maureen has many hobbies such as pottery, card making and crafts in general but her first love is pottery, she also plays the Roland Atelier AT 50.

Ivy Holmes
Ivy helps to sell raffle tickets and assists with distributing programmes and newsletters prior to the concert. Although she doesn’t play she has her favourite organists and loves the pure organ sounds.

Chairman: Allan Brindle
Alan is responsible for the video system. He arrrives very early in the afternoon to ensure that the screens, cameras and projectors are all set up ready for the concert. After the concert it's then time to dismantle and pack away all the equipment for another month. Alan was very involved in our original plans and negotiations for the system. He lives in Bolton and plays Technics KN6000 & Yamaha PSR3000 keyboards. Allan was elected as Chairman in June 2008

Mary Gething
Mary joined the Organ Society in July 2001. She plays a Yamaha Tyros 1 and the PSR S700. She started on a mini keyboard and enjoyed it so much has worked her way up onto the bigger keyboards. Mary also belongs to the Operetta society and is a founder member of the 5 Saints Amateur Theatre company. Hobbies include reading, knitting for charity and she likes most kinds of music (especially swing, big band and show music). Mary helps with sellig raffle tickets prior to the commencment of the concert. |
