Who we are
The Brock Valley Churches Together are a group of 11 Churches in an area centered on the Brock river. We are situated in villages throughout the area

The Brock Valley Churches Together were formed in 1990 by a group of people from each of the Churches who wanted to gain a better understanding of one another and forge links between the Churches, under the Leadership and inspiration of the Rev Alan Camp, (The then Congregational Minister) A more formal structure was adopted in 1994, in the form of a Constitution signed by all member Churches. The Constitution is as follows:

BASIS. Brock Valley Churches Together unites in pilgrimage those churches in Brock Valley which, acknowledging the gift of God's revelation In Christ, confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures, and, in obedience to God's will, and In the power of the Holy Spirit, commit themselves :- To seek a deepening fellowship with one another and their communion with Christ In the Church which is His body: and to fulfil their mission to proclaim the Gospel by common witness and service in the world TO THE GLORY OF ONE GOD, FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT.
PURPOSE AND AIMS.
a. To bring all Christians, Individually, and those In fellowship with any of the participating churches in the defined Brock Valley area, Into a spiritual relationship with each other, so as to encourage growth as Christ's disciples in the richness of the diversity of the several Christian traditions represented.
b. To stimulate and encourage mutual support between clergy and laity In pursuing the alms of Churches Together In England.
c. To encourage regular and frequent united gatherings for worship, study and social fellowship; and by not doing separately those things that can be done together.
In particular we shall seek :
d. To enable the churches, as pilgrims together, to develop growing relationships, to seek a common mind, and to make decisions together.
a. To encourage churches to worship, pray and reflect together on the nature and purpose mission - each church sharing with others the treasures of Its traditions. f. To enable the churches to respond to the needs of society and to witness to the Gospel together. g. To enable the churches to live and share the Gospel, to evangelism together, and take further steps towards fuller unity.
