GOT SOME SPARE TIME?

If you want to get out and about, see areas of the north west you did not know existed. Plus help to preserve the balance of nature and the environment THEN EMAIL KATH...@ k.godfrey@btcv.org.uk. h.morris@btcv.org.uk or call on: 07764655711 (we can arrange local pick-ups with our minibus)

We are the largest Volunteer conservation charity in the UK
Recently we have been involved in: Nature garden construction for a primary school in Bolton which included an amphitheatre and pergula. Pond construction for a farm trust in Blackburn. Transforming an over grown area of a graveyard into a tranquil area and allotment space for the locals , plus lots of other interesting tasks.
You can also gain valuable skills needed when working in conservation (depends on your level of time and commitment) including: Machinery use (LANTRA & NPTC), gaining abilities such hedge laying, dry stone walling, woodland management, animal and plant identification, and much more
