A Football Team for Learning Disabilities/Special Needs

We are a Football Team who was formed in 1996 by Mr John Mevlin and Mr Anthony Ruth so that men and Ladies with Learning Disabilities and Special Needs are able to train and take part in Competitive Football all around the Country. The players who play for us are aged 16 - 40 and in the Five years we have been together, we have won 13 Trophies from all around the Country.
We have travelled as far up as Middlesbrough and as far down as London, we have played on Turf Moor, Bloomfield Road and Craven Cottage and we have had Two England Disability Football Players who have played in the World Cup in 1998 and European Championships 1999 for Disabilities and have another player who is having England CP trials.
We are one of the top teams in the North - West for Disabilities but we just want the players to have fun and enjoy their football.  Anyone interested in joining our group e-mail us.
