Hello, Lancashire! Welcome to the Committee For The Golden Rule.

The Committee For The Golden rule is an informal association of people who desire to promote the Golden Rule, "TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED." Membership on the Committee is open to all people who desire to promote the Golden Rule, regardless of their age, sex, marital status, economic status, national origin, ethnic background, sexual orientation, political beliefs, religion, race, or any other category whatsoever.
You can join The Committee For The Golden Rule by sending a blank e-mail message to the following address: committeeforthegoldenrule-subscribe@yahoogroups.com .
Or you can join it by visiting this website: www.groups.yahoo.com/group/committeeforthegoldenrule
Membership is open to anyone who desires to promote the Golden Rule, "Treat others as you would like to be treated."

Our one purpose: To promote the Golden Rule.
The Golden Rule
- - - The one moral law which applies to all people.

"Treat others as you would like to be treated."
This is based on the original words of Jesus, as recorded in the Bible.
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men
should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is
the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12 KJV)

To apply the Golden Rule, simply ask yourself "How would you like to be treated in similar circumstances?" Then treat the other person that way. Also consider the impact of your actions on all other people, not only those immediately before you.

Blessings to you!
