Mercer out for 2 months!!!!!

Howard Mercer, Cherry's own version of "Manu Petit" has been ruled out of action for 6-8 weeks after suffering a broken fingernail in a work-related incident.
Mercer, who is a beauty therapist by day had this to say: "Mrs Smith was my 3.00pm appointment and required a replacement for her chipped false index nail. This is standard practice for me but i obviously wasn't concentrating, i guess my mind was on sundays game!"
This is a blow to manager Logan who will again have to shuffle his pack. Mercer (pictured above) is in stable condition and said to be recovering well.
