Want to know more about HIV/Aids?

Blackpool H.E.A.L was etablished approximately ten years ago to provide support and information to people both infected or affected by HIV/Aids.Our centre is fully equiped with disabled facilities, counseling room,therapy room, resource area etc.

Services include telephone and face to face counselling, drop - in befrienders, hospital and home visits etc. Condoms are available free at the centre, aromatherapy is available to persons HIV+. Family partners and friends meet every third Wednesday to gain valuable support from each other.

Sexual Health "Awareness" events are held plus Educational talks to various groups.We hold a vast array of literature on all issues relating to HIV.

We work closely with the dept G.U.M specialist nurses, social workers, doctors etc, each respecting clients confidentiality.

We actively encourage our clients to lead a normal life within the limits of their illness. No pressure is put upon to join groups.
