Sad day for Junction FC
|Gaz Fisher, Andy Tibbs, Ian Bate and Paul Heintze all called it a day at the club after a long long time.|
Gaz was manager for decades, seems like forever, guided Junc to a cup final and many semi finals and a few good league positions. His charisma and enthusiam will be missed, but no doubt he'll be back as a fan to cheer on the Junc. Thanks for all your efforts over the years boss.
Ian Bate, legend at the club and at East Sutton, cheap bog rolls and washing powder and the odd good tip. Great career.
Scottish wizard, Paul 'pish' Heintze will be missed in goal, a giant figure of a man in between the sticks. Won player of the year a few seasons ago, i was second, gutted.
Tibbs won't be missed.
Only joking, Tibbs is one of the old school, he grew with the team. The Geoff Throp era, Gary Stranges finest find. His character on and off the field was simply second to none, especially the arse trap on the sidelines before a game.
Thanks lads for many many great memories.
