The Leukaemia Research Fund (LRF) needs your help in the fight against the many forms of blood cancers collectively called Leukaemia.
The local voluntary branches are the heart of the fund.If you can spare some time or energy-no matter how small-to help we will be delighted to hear from you.

As a charity we rely entirely on the generosity of members of the public to carry out our vital work.

All the branches of the Fund are run by volunteers and this means that running costs are very small so more money goes to help sufferers and finance vital research.
Survival rates for Leukaemia sufferers have improved dramatically over the last forty years since the founding of the Leukaemia Research Fund.
Approx 60 to 70% of children with Leukaemia can now be cured,but treatment for adults with Leukaemia is not so good.Only 30% of adults can be cured. This is why the fight must continue! |
