Background

In the 1960's there were only four Asian Christian families in Pendle; today the Asian Christian community in Pendle is one of the largest in the UK.

This community makes a huge contribution to the life of Pendle as a whole, both economically and socially. Pendle Asian Christians also take a full part in the lives of the Christian churches within Pendle. However the vital presence is not always visible; it is hoped that the P.A.C.F will build awareness of this strong Asian Christian presence.
We wish to see cultural barriers broken down, cultural diversity embraced and everyone working together for the good of all.
