Hope and certainty

The one thing we can really have,
Is hope within the mind?
It matters not the stress of life,
With problem’s of all kinds.

The trust we have for all we see,
Stays within us whatever will be.
Experience brings untold wealth
Is within us for all eternity.

Hope then will light the path ahead.
A road to bring, such wonderful blessings.
God works in many different ways,
Prayers answered, problems passing.

It may be better to have lost,
Than to be caught in bitter tears.
For all of our lives we’re tested and tried.
Serenity comes through the course of years.

The strength we gain is so great
By looking straight ahead.
Hope has carried us to a time and a place.
We can then say, we have been truly lead.
