Hope

As long as we have hope within us,
Light can be felt if not seen.
The journey of our life,
Is a vast and precious dream?

Be not sad, or at a loss,
Even though the sun may well be set.
A life to live, or a word to speak,
Such splendour untold, new friends not met.

Life is a true gift,
To have and to hold.
One shall marvel as,
Our future unfolds.

Hope gives such light,
So much promise is there.
The pleasure gained by friends,
Who are everywhere?
