Faith in God
Faith in God A Poems.
After a walk on Winter Hill Bolton.
By K Rylance
Walking down , a country lane, The air is sweet, there is no sound. Yet here upon a hill so high Above the noise of cars and trains.
The quietness of a summers eve, A setting sun, a gentle breeze. God is close in nature I have found, Above the chaos of daily life.
Of all the things that go wrong, The mind can be clear, If the heart were still.
As twilight comes, the in-between time, No dark, yet no light. Gentleness can be felt in the atmosphere, As if God put his arms all over the world.
The stars shine brighter that before, They tell a tale of wonder. The vast universe is safe in God’s Hands, Let faith be the strongest power to hold.
Thank you God for making us safe, Even though at times it’s an awful place. Amid the man-made emotions we can find, A peace that goes beyond space and time.
