When your day is long

As sunshine gathers the beauty around us,
And rain clouds sail, over hill and plain.

It's the same in our lives, we've the ups and the downs.
We must make what we can of our life just the same.

It's no use getting low, or even despairing.
It's now use being low, for that is not the way.

We must lift up our eyes and be constantly learning,
Of the spiritual life, of this we must pray.

Then our day passes swiftly, without getting weary,
For we trust in our aim, and our aim is to save.

To save our own selves, becoming too burdened,
With life's constant worries and problems, 'facing life brave'.

When you see on your skyline,
A dark clouded mountain.
'Be positive in thought', the sun will shine through.

For we have the key, it is there within each one.
In truth spirit offers freedom,
just foryou.
