Sparky the cat loses one of his nine lives

Curiosity almost killed the cat when Sparky the tabby wandered into an electricity substation. Getting zapped with 11,000 volts of electricity cost him one of his nine lives - but at least he lived to tell the tale!
"It's a miracle he was still alive", said the RSPCA.The animal rescue patrol had been called out by Gerry Bullock, an electrical engineer. Luckily, he spotted the nosy cat climbing over a fence near some live electricity cables. Gerry feared the worst - Sparky was about to get the shock of his life, Gerry thought.
