Rebuilding the Community with the aid of the Web

The St. Davids Community Action Group are based in St. Annes on Sea near Blackpool. Their "collaborative" website is an exciting project in which a local community use the power of the internet to fight drugs, crime and nuisance, and to rebuild and re-generate their neighbourhood.

It is an "Open Forum" website - anyone can edit the pages.

It's one of those truly great ideas that is so simple and so obvious, but it is also a fascinating social experiment.
