E Net - 'Education, Employment & Equality'

NW E Net Ltd continues to evolve as a regional network of organisations supporting and working with people with a wide range of disabilities and social exclusion difficulties. NW E Net is ideally placed to be a significant voice for organisations and users in the field of employment and training.

The organisation continues to increase its membership across the North West region. We are pleased to welcome three new member organisations, REECE Choice, Blackburn; Coldwell Activity Centre, Burnley; Maundy Grange, Accrington. All of these organisations provide additional support and expertise for people with a wide range of disabilities and social exclusion difficulties.

NW E.Net has been working in partnership with three member organisations; Integrate Employment Services, Jigsaw Employment Services and Midstream (West Lancs) to deliver the New Deal for Disabled People programme since July 2001. The programme of activities for all three partner organisations is identified as 'New Start' and all branding reflects this positive approach to assisting people with mental ill health, learning, sensory and physical disabilities to find paid work. All partner organisations have considerable experience in providing assistance to people excluded from the job market because of ill health or disability.
