About us:-

The Breverton Group

“supporting Fylde families & their children with additional/complex health needs”

We are parents/carers in the Fylde area who have children with varying additional/complex health needs, either with or without educational statements.
We usually get together once a month (see our future sessions web page for details of all drop-in sessions) to chat and swap ideas/advice on all aspects of having a child with additional/complex health needs: Diet,Education,Benefits,Organisations,Grants,Schemes, Respite Care, Day to Day things..........the list is endless!

The drop-in sessions are very relaxed and informal, no commitment required! So why not come along and join us, even if it's just for a cup of tea/coffee and a friendly ear!

In the summer holidays we usually hold a group family picnic, weather permitting and have also arranged trips to The Space Centre Multi Sensory Room at Preston which is very popular with the children.
People are regularily popping in and out of our sessions from various organisations, etc offering help and advice if you want it. Any suggestions for future guest speakers/ trips etc always considered and welcomed.

In January 2010 we formed a youth group for children/young persons (8-19) with additional/complex health needs, which has proven to be very popular....please see our "Breverton Buddies" web page for further details.
