Hopwood Faces Sexual Harassment Charge!
 | Thwaites defender Dominc Hopwood, is being faced with a sexual harassment charge, after an incident in local pub. The pub which we can not name for legal reasons, is regularly frequented in by Hopwood, and he is well known by the owner and bar staff at the pub. But it is unlikely he will be drinking in there again after a member of the bar staff, the glass collector to be precise reported him to the police for sexual harassment. The incident took place on Easter Monday after Hopwood had gone to watch his second favourite team Blackburn Rovers. He was joined there by a majority of the Thwaites squad. As the night went on, one by one the rest of the team left, in the end leaving Hopwood propping up the bar by himself. This is when the incident took place. An eyewitness gave us this statement. “I noticed that Hopwood was in quite a state, earlier on. He was out of control and when the young glass collector came to collect his empty glass he began groping her, she ended up dropping all the glasses and running away in tears.” Two bouncers then escorted Hopwood from the pub The day after Hopwood was woken by two police officers knocking on the door, accusing him of sexual harassment. His court date has been set for the 18th of April at Preston Crown Court.
This is the last thing Thwaites FC need with all the other trouble surrounding the club at the moment
