Thwaites Star Hopwod Hoping to Hold on to Place.
 | After being given a full 30 minutes in Thwaites last game. Midfield star Hopwood is hoping managers Carl Elmer and Gary Targett will see his worth and keep in starting line up.
Due to injuries and suspensions Hopwood was thrown in at the deep end and was made to play at left back, a position un known to him. Hopwood took to the position like a duck to water and put in a no nonesense performance.
With Hopwood taking to this position so well, this may mean Thwaites can now afford to push Simon Tipton further forward so he can get so more scoring oppurtunities.
Hopwood pictured above was caught up in a brawl on Saturday with Curry House owner Pervez after Hopwood decided it was a good idea to cause utter chaos in his restaurant. The injuries to Hopwoods face are clear to see, some say its an improvement. |
