Targett Denies Video Shocker

Gary Targett has today come out to give a statement about the all night bender that him and Midfielder Hopwood have been accused of days before an important match.

In a press conference held at the clubs Witton training centre Targett told the anxious news crew the story they did not want to here, 'Some ones out to get me. I catergorically deny these rumours, after the game I went home to play with my young son. I am the manager of this club and that means setting an example to the younger members of the team. I will be speaking to the chairman whose full backing I have and the rest of the players.'

Targett has been the subject to some bad press recently as allegations of racism and now this sex scandal, 'My teams do the talking for me on the pitch,' is what he told the journalists.

As a parting shot Targett declared war on the people instigating these stories, 'I will not tolerate this. This is a football club first and foremost. It would be nice to talk to you about football for a change. I'm going to dig out these imposters and see that they never set foot in this club again.'

When asked was he out with the players at all last night Targett said, 'No Comment'
