Managerial Changes at Thwaites?
 | After yet another defeat in the 7 A Side league, Carl Elmers job hangs in the balance, and the Thwaites board may have already found a replacement in former Stoke and Bradford manager Chris Kamara. Kamara has been spotted in talks with Thwaites at their training ground in Witton. But I believe one snag may be that Kamara wants to manage both the 7 a side and the 5 a side teams, as he wants complete control of the football side. Does this spell the end of Targett as well? Well if the rumours that he is off to Man Utd at the end of the season are true, the board may get rid of him sooner rather than wait to the end of the season.
If Kamara does take over he is expected to be given a large sum of money to buy new players to get them out of relegation trouble in the 7 a side league and to press ahead with there tital challenge in the 5's. The board refused to give Elmer this money as he would have wasted it on crap, like the bat and ball he bought while on holiday in Rhodes.
There has been no official comment from any of the parties involved. |
