Transglobal Humanitarian Aid - Mission Statement
Transglobal Humanitarian Aid was founded in 1988, initially to help the people of Romania who were suffering great hardship.
In addition to the trips to Rumania a number of mercy trips were made to Chernobyl following the nuclear disaster and many more aid consignments have been made to Africa, India and most eastern European countries.
The charity is however, predominantly focused on orphanages and medical facilities in Romania, and in the last few years the charity has gradually gone back to it's 'roots' and mainly given aid to the people of Romania.
Transglobal Is a small charity, which was granted Charity Commission status in March 2003. This now allows further means of raising funds to be explored.
Ciceu, in Northern Romania where aid is focused is an area of Romania very much neglected by Romanian and European politicians and one of extreme need.
