Local Schools Ask For Help

The local schools are in desperate need of help. The village school has no heating and during cold periods the children sit in class wearing their outdoor clothing. Teachers have asked for many basic items such as pencils, paper, chalkboards and reading books. The school tries to teach ICT related subjects, but generally the work is theory using cardboard keyboards. The school has one old computer for 250 pupils so access is pretty limited. The furniture in the school is In poor condition. Aims: 1. To supply every class with a chalkboard, desks and chairs and basic writing equipment. 2. To supply a computer for each class. 3. To develop a school library - English is taught in school and the aim is to encourage an interest in reading.
