Age Concern Feltham Hanworth and Bedfont
Age Concern Feltham Hanworth and Bedfont owes its existence to the interest and concern of the local community for its older residents. The local organisation is affiliated to the nationwide Age Concern but run independently by a Council of Management made up of local people, the majority being older people.
Age Concern Feltham Hanworth and Bedfont exists to promote the welfare of older people; to help;those at particular risk through isolation or disability to live at home as long as possible and to offer a positive approach to retirement for the more active pensioner.
We offer a wide range of services for older people living in our community which include
A day centre at Feltham Lodge - open from Monday to Friday. We provide meals on a daily basis for 40 - 50 older people. Referral for the day centre can be made by anybody on behalf of an older person, as long as they are aware of the referral, including themselves, family, friends, neighbours, G.P.'s, etc.
