Public animation and arts workshops for local schools
At UXBRIDGE CRAFT MARKET

Animation artist Shelly Wain has shown her work at Short Film Festivals throughout Europe and she will be coming to Uxbridge to run this workshop for invited local schoolchildren.
After showing extracts from one of her recent films children will have the chance to devise their own short story, create some model characters and then have the special experience of presenting a short animation ready for filming.
Art tutor Max Kader will be running a series of Portrait painting workshops.
Working in pairs children (and teachers) can draw and paint each other's portraits
With special tips on how to identify characteristic features and maybe create a caricature.
Workshops will take place at Uxbridge Craft Market, The Mall Pavilions Shopping Centre.
Each activity lasts about one hour
These are free activities are open to local schoolchildren aged 8-11yrs.
