 | Under the umbrella of the Wandsworth Bengali Welfare Association the Centre offers the following groups:

Asian Elderly Specialist Day Care Centre
This project will be run by an experiences manager assisted by qualified care workers. The Day Care Centre is known as "Trinity Road Day Centre". |
Asian Elderly Support Service
Provides a range of support services for carers of older people in Asian communities living in Wandsworth. The project offers individual support, respite care provided by volunteers, information and carers' support groups. |
Asian Carers' Centre
Free advice and information and practical help can be obtained for the Asian carers and Asian elderly needing the service. They also offer one to one counselling, reflexology and massage. The surgeries are held at the Centre on:
Monday 3.00pm-5.00pm
Tuesday 1.00pm-4.00pm
Wednesday 9.00am-1.00pm

Luncheon Club
The Centre has a 6 day luncheon club run by Wandsworth Bengali Welfare Association. Monday to Friday vegetarian food and on Saturday non-vegetarian is served. Food is cooked on the premises under strict supervision for hygiene. Except for the non-vegetarian which is home cooked and served at the Centre. Food served at the Centre caters for both the palate as well as health and dietary needs of the elderly. The prices are reasonable under present market conditions. Currently the price for OAP's is £1.70 per meal. You can eat in or take away (please bring your own containers or there will be an additional charge). All are welcome though the prices vary for unemployed, income support and the employed. Saturday lunch is £1.70 for all. |
Housing Advise and Welfare Rights Surgery
This surgery is held every Monday from 2.00pm to 3.00pm. Advice is given on a wide range of housing problems. Advice and often Advocacy service is also offered to those who have difficulty in expressing their needs to the authorities. |
Women's Group
Aisha women's group meets once a week on Thursday from 10.00am to 12.00pm to discuss issues relevant to Adian women in Britain today. They aim to provide stimulating company to all who attend. Sessions will include advice on personal safety, self-defence techniques, matrimonial rights, child safety and women's health needs. The group is facilitated by a local health visitor.
A new group has recently started and they meet every Monday from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. |
Alcohol Advisory Surgery
Meet on Mondays from 5.00pm to 6.00pm once a month to advise on problems arising out of alcoholism. |
Meditation Group
Practice in Buddhist tradition. Meet on Tuesday every week from 7.00pm-9.00pm. Bring cushion if possible.

Tae-Kwondo Classes
Children are taught the art of self defence by a qualified black belt tutor every Tuesday from 7.00pm-9.00pm. |
Drug Advisory Service
Meets once a month on the last Thursday of each month from 11.00am-12.30pm. |
Sri Satya Sai Baba Group
For all devotees of Sri Satya Sai Baba, the chance to meet regularly for bhajan singing, meditation, study and prayers. |
Senior Citizen's Card Playing Group
Meet from 2.00pm-6.00pm from Monday to Friday. |
Education Centre:
We offer the following educational groups... |
Satya Sai Baba Education Services
The group is run for young children aged 5-16 years who are interested in the teachings of Sai Baba. Classes are conducted both in English and Gujarati. Meet on Sunday from 10.00am to 1.00pm every week. |
French Course
Fun French courses are run on Saturday every week from 12.00pm-2.00pm.

Shishu Sheba Kendra
This will be a children's day nursery which will start in due course. |
Business Training Centre
Training will be given to young unemployed to successful employment after their training. |
Health Advocacy
This project will look into the well being of the Asian elderly within the London Borough of Wandsworth and the neighbouring boroughs.

Maximum capacity 80 without tables and 60 seating. Carpeted room.

Range of rooms available in varied size.
Kitchen/Dining Area:
Full range, can be hired in conjunction with hall bookings.
The Centre is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
