Welcome to the Barnet Folk Club’s Website

The BFC is now now a part of Artsdepot Tally Ho Corner, North Finchley.

If you would like to be on our mailing list just send us an e mail using the mail form.

Formed in 1990, the club is for local musicians and singers and especially audience who are interested in traditional and contemporary folk music.

The club is organised by J.J. Dunne who is himself a performer. Originally from Camden Town with Irish roots that has influenced his style of music. Described as “ Billy Bragg meets Christy Moore” .

The evening’s entertainment is always different - no two meetings are the same. JJ starts off proceedings with a couple of songs.

Those interested in traditional and contemporary folk, roots and world music will be pleased to hear that Barnet Folk Club is now based at artsdepot. These evenings are led by local stalwart JJ Dunne, who will kick off with a couple of songs. Audiences will enjoy the opportunity to be entertained by players and singers offering up tunes old and new, and try out new ideas. All are welcome.
