If any member wishes to lead an event on a free date, or if you have an idea for an event, please contact Peter Gamble.
The vast majority of events are open to newcomers - please contact Peter (on 01992 573638 or 07960 205 921) or Ken (on 020 8524 3960) for details of times/places, etc.
As the programme is prepared 3 months in advance, it can be subject to addditions/changes. Watch for updates.
UPDATES
Weekend Jan31st/Feb 1st - walking in the Brecon Beacons, staying at Danywenallt Youth Hostel.
Easter April 10th to 13th
Either Walking in Shropshire area, staying 3 nights at Purple Hotel, Shrewsbury (Susan W / Ann)
or Celebrate Croydon Group's 75th birthday by walking 75 km over 3 days via Hindhead, Holmbury & Tanners Hatch Hostels. (Ken)
Saturday 25th April - cycle ride postponed. Instead, bluebell walk in Claybury Woods, meet 10:30am at gate (Paul).
Sunday 26th April - Coggeshall walk postponed. Instead, Weald Walkers Wander, a walk with a difference (Ken).
Thursday 28th May - canoeing moved to Thursday 11th June, instead 'Can you Come to Your Senses' or quiz. |
