Ian Murray, "The Old parish Church of Hornsey", 1990 (8 pp.) £1-50. A brief history of the church, by the former Borough Archivist.
Bridget Cherry, "Hornsey Church Tower: A Brief History and Guide", 1993 (12 pp.) £1-50. A guide to the Tower with illustrations of architectural features of historical interest, by the Secretary of the Friends.
Joan Schwitzer, "Buried in Hornsey: The graves of St Mary's Churchyard" ISBN 0905794273 (16 pp.) £2-50. Biographical sketches of well-known local residents and others who were buried in the churchyard before its closure in 1872, and notes of memorials formerly in the body of the church before its demolition. Includes a plan of the churchyard and several illustrations.
Eric Robinson, "Geology from a Churchyard: A Tombstone Trail around St Mary's Hornsey", 2000, ISBN 0905794265 (12 pp.) £1-95. A study of the various types of stone used in the churchyard's tombstones: their geological formation, origins, and weathering characteristics. Includes a plan of the churchyard and various figures.
