CLUB NEWS
 | | Membership commences in February of each year - at present this is £5 per annum. You can become a member and receive our monthly newsletter even if you cannot make it to the meetings by simply completing the email form requesting to join. Our members are a friendly bunch and our meetings are held in a relaxed cosy atmosphere, with a fully licenced bar where drinks can be obtained at club rates. At our monthly meetings we have many horticultural items for sale which include, Armillatox and Provado (for the treatment of Vine Weevil), Bug Clear (used to be Polysect), Systhane (fungicide), Chempak 2/3/4 (plant feed), Pots, saucers, hanging baskets, hanging pots, Cheshunt Compound, labels and canes - to name just a few. Also on sale are Society badges, keyrings and fridge magnets. At the next meeting, on Friday 25th April 2008, the Society welcomes back Roger Tomlinson of the RSPB. This time Roger will be giving a talk and slide show entitled 'Birds - then and now'. |
