Hadley Wood Rotary Club

We meet at 7.30pm Tuesdays at the Jolly Farmers Slades Hill Enfield
Whilst we do enjoy an excellent meal in pleasant surroundings, at our evening meetings we place much importance on fellowship and the opportunity to meet with like minded interesting people from all types of professions and businesses. We regularly have guest speakers who talk on very varied subjects. The meeting on the last Tuesday in the month is usually held at an outside venue which usually will be a visit to an interesting place, we have visted a watermill and Sainsbury's new distribution centre to name just two.
We believe that fellowship and the friendship that develops from membership of our club is a means through which service is encouraged, we are not solely engaged in fund raising though such activities enable us to directly assist the local community and when needed on an international level, through the clubs that exist in 163 countries in the World.
In summary, Rotary is not just a fund raising organisation donating to good causes, but a service organisation promoting and creating opportunities for others to extend their potential.
