MEDIA STUDIES GROUP

Last year our media studies group was involved in making a short film called "Canada". They worked on this in association with patients of St. Clement's Hospital.
Heathside Members played vital roles in every stage of making the film. This included choosing a script and drawing the storyboards, working alongside a professional film crew helping with filming, lighting and sound recording and being involved in the editing process. They also hired and directed professional actors.
The film was very succesful and made it to the last eight of the shortlist for the Stella Artois film festival prize.
Following the success of "Canada" our media studies group are now making another short film. We have already raised £3500 of the £6000 needed to complete this next film project.
