UNUSUAL OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE WORLD

HOST is a national charity which aims to foster international understanding in a uniquely personal way. We arrange one-off weekend or Christmas visits to welcoming private homes for some of the many international students at universities and colleges across the UK. Students want to make contact with the residents of this country, to discover our customs and experience our way of life. Yet, without a HOST invitation, the vast majority have no means of doing so. Our hosts are volunteers from all walks of life, living all over Britain, who enjoy welcoming different, well-educated adults from all over the world, once or twice a year. Most hosts say they gain as much as they give on these occasions. HOST is very much in need of more hosts. If the idea appeals to you, please contact us for more information. Thank you.
