Embankment show
The rain held off for our main outdoor show in August this year. The Iberian Group performed in the 1st section with a selection of Portuguese dances. The costumes, which were richly embroidered were from the Minho region.
The next group to perform, were three young dancers in colourful costumes. They performed traditional dances from the Caribbean.
The Iberian group then performed dances from Mexico in white costumes with wide skirts.
This was followed by more dances from the Caribbean Group to Gospel Music.
The Mauritian Dancer provided a contrast with a tropical performance and wore colourful costumes with wide skirts and frills.
The final part of the show with The Iberian Group included dances from Andalucia in Southern Spain. Finishing with the Sevillanas which, is danced at all Major festivals in Spain.
We hope anyone who attended enjoyed the show.
