Crossing
I have this poem I am working on, any comments are welcome.

Time tempers.
Count to ten they say
but society doesn't believe it.
Is there ten seconds between
rising and sleeping you can spend to
count to ten?
Ten seconds to breath,
ten seconds to live,
ten seconds to love.
Take ten seconds at work
and the line manager screams.
Count to ten they say
but society doesn't allow it.
Once the light flashes green
you have ten seconds to cross,
no more.
