Just Poets

Welcome to Just Poets. Many of you will be heading straight to the message board to share your poems and workshop them if you'd like feedback. I keep an eye on them so you'll always get a response. If you don't want feedback let us know, but otherwise we'll tweak away and help you polish your poems. Posting your poems to the message board doesn't count as publication so you can still send them to publications and competitions, but you can always ask me to delete a poem if you want that. I've been busy creating projects for writers on the popular virtual world Second Life. You can chat to writers from around the world for free using a simple headset and we have readings, events and a writers' circle where you can share your writing - poetry and fiction. Find it on http://www.secondlife.com, set up a free account and search for Jilly Kidd which is my Second Life name. Hope to see you there! Just remember that the copyright for each poem remains with the writer and you mustn't download the poems or republish them without the writer's permission, whether online or in print. Writing on the Internet is protected by copyright law in the same way as printed books. We're glad to see so many visitors - hundreds per week - but we don't know who you are. Remember to say hello in the guest book or the message board so we can welcome you. You can send us your ideas and comments on our message board, and it's one of the best free workshops around.
