 | The Powerwalking Group is basically a group of women who use powerwalking as an aid to achieve fitness. Powerwalking is suitable for both fit and non-fit individuals and is an excellent foundation for people who want a safe exercise that requires no special skills or equipment and can be done virtually anywhere. The walk is structured to give walkers variation in walking speeds using differing intensities on varying types of terrain i.e. hills, grass, track, road walking or combinations of these.
