What if I'm too slow or too fast?
 | Any person who likes walking can attend whether they are ex-runners, recreational walkers, new mum's or grandmothers. Those who are very new to walking for fitness, on a rehabilitation program or have just had a baby may only complete part sessions and build their fitness progressively whilst making new friends doing an activity you enjoy! Whilst everyone starts together, individuals work for a duration, intensity and recovery applicable to their individual level of fitness. Some walkers may be able to complete the entire session within the hour, and others may do only part of it. As the size of the group increases, walkers can 'link up' with others of similar ability with whom they can form 'sub groups' in which to complete the main sets. As the group size increases, it is more likely to find someone of similar ability to you but you will not be 'pressured' into keeping up with others |
