Current projects

At present, we are looking for funding for the following project:

A village of around 10,000 inhabitants and other surrounding smaller villages will benefit from this project. We have made a visibility study and identified with the inhabitants that there is a very urgent need for the following:
1) A primary school composed of 8 classrooms, an office, a library and toilets. The funding needed to build and equip the school is £20,000.
2) A deep well for drinkable water. At present, the village inhabitants drink from hand-dug shallow pore holes. The water from the pore holes is very sour and not suitable for drinking. The cost for the well including a hand operated water pump is £5000.

This project will give education to children who would otherwise grow up without any education. For some of the children, it already too late because they have passed school age and they have very bleak future ahead of them. The staff of the organization work voluntarily and the money raised for the project will be used only for the purposed mentioned above.

The project is expected to be finished within one year once funding is found. The three pieces of the project are independent and funding for all three or any of three pieces of work is much appreciated.
