ST. CLEMENT'S HEIGHTS RETIREMENT HOUSING
 | St. Clement's Heights - a modern block of sheltered housing accommodation for elderly people of limited means, is situated in Sydenham within the London Borough of Lewisham, South-East London, SE26. UK.
Whilst most of the accommodation is suitable for single people there are some double flats available for couples. The buildings stand in well-tended, attractively landscaped grounds and enjoy panoramic views over South-East London to the Kent Weald. Each flat has a balcony except those on the ground level which open onto a patio and residents are encouraged to beautify these with their own plantings.
There are no care or nursing facilities, nursing or care staff, nor are there any communal cooking facilities. All residents therefore, must be self-caring.
The flats are self contained, unfurnished, centrally heated, and fitted with an alarm call system. The resident staff are responsible for management, administration and maintenance. The Trustees' contractors carry out necessary redecoration of and repairs to all flats.
"The Heights", as it is affectionately known, is administered and run by the Trustees of St. Clement Danes Holborn Estate Charity. The Charity has a long history and was founded in 1551 by the parish elders of St. Clement Danes Church situated in the Strand, London, England.
