Our Vicar

Revd. Geoff Price has been our Vicar since March 2005, when he moved from his previous parish in Ipswich, Suffolk. He and his wife Hope are shown above in a photograph taken after the Confirmation service held in February 2006.

An extended interview with Geoff, conducted by journalist Karen Rollins (who was a member of our congregation) was published in the 2008 issue of St. Mary's Good News.

Travelling to St. Mary's

Several bus services serve St. Mary's. The 116 (Hounslow - Ashford Hospital via the A315), H25 (Hanworth Butts Farm - Hatton Cross via Feltham High Street and Station), and H26 (Feltham Sparrow Farm - Hatton Cross via Feltham High Street and Station) all stop at Bedfont Green. The 203 (Hounslow - Staines via Hatton Cross and Stanwell) stops nearby in Stanwell Road.

The nearest underground or "Tube" station is Hatton Cross on the Piccadilly Line. Transfer to H25, H26, or 203 bus, as above.

The nearest main-line railway station is Feltham, served by South West Trains to/from London Waterloo. Transfer to H25 or H26 bus, as above.

If travelling by car, there is some free on-street parking adjacent to the church, but please don't park in the bus stops. On Sundays it is usually possibly to park in the Church Hall car park, the other side of Hatton Road.

The nearest airport is London Heathrow (IATA: LHR, ICAO: EGLL). Although some taxi drivers that ply their trade at Heathrow know where Bedfont is, it might be easier (and certainly will be cheaper) to travel via public transport, changing to a local bus at Hatton Cross Underground station, as above.

Open Day - Saturday 20 June

Our Open Day - held in association with Feltham History Group's "Feltham & Bedfont Open House Day" - was on Saturday 20th June.

Not quite a hundred visitors took the opportunity to visit our historic parish church and its graveyard in mostly fine weather. The presence of the Ascot Week Fair on The Green added to the festival atmosphere.

We hope that this will continue to be an annual occasion, and would like to say a big "thank you" to Eddie Menday for organising it. We also wish to thank the many local businesses who displayed our poster advertising the event.
