Congratulations, you have discovered The Leftovers official website. The website which is being created to remember the best of what was The Leftovers. This small band came together in 1978, following the demise of the well-loved 'The Plug'. The band went through a series of incarnations, before the band split due to the usual musical differences. Other bands followed - The Splitz, Quartz Lock - and links to their website will also be included. Luckily many of their major concerts were recorded and once the original tapes can be found and dusted off, we hope to reissue them on CD. On the attached pages will be sections setting out:- (a) a history of the band; (b) what life was like in rural Oxfordshire in the late 1970's; (c) the songs which made the band so much more special than the other bands around at the time; (d) pictures of the band and supporters; (e) a 'where are they now?' section; (f) interesting snippets about the band and the world in which they lived, in the late 1970's.
