We provide an easy and relaxed way to meet new people in London, make new like minded friends and contacts and connect with others that share something in common. We don't charge an annual membership fee like other social clubs so you're not tied in and have the option to attend our Socials whenever you want (or not). Who uses thesocialservice.com?
Our members are mainly British professionals and are a laid-back, sociable and intelligent crowd. However, we welcome people from all nationalities to come and socialise with us and really enjoy getting a good mix of people from all backgrounds together at our Socials. Our members tend to fall into one of the categories below:
- Bit bored of their usual social circle and/or are open to and enjoy meeting new and interesting people
- Newly re-located to the Capital (or to a new area of London) leaving existing friends behind
- Singles keen to replenish their social networks as existing friends settle with partners/have kids
- Interested in meeting/socialising with a specific group of people eg. other couples, Spanish-speakers, Creatives
How does it work?
We simply organise for groups of our members to meet up and do something social together - no pressure, no gimmicks and no expectations - just easy, relaxed and informal socialising with other like minded people.
1 Register yourself for free to become a member
2 Select a group from the left hand links on the site, book your place onto a Social.
3 You can see who else is coming to a Social by viewing the relevant Guestlist
4 The day before (or more if it’s a weekend Social) you’ll receive an email confirming full details.
5 On arrival at the Social you’ll be met and welcomed by one of our hosts.
6 After the Social (and before!) you can use our Private Messaging system to get in touch with the others you met. It's that simple!
To ensure you get to meet a good mix of people through us, if less than 5 members sign up for a Social, it is cancelled, you will be notified by phone and/or email and a full refund provided.
