What sort of music?
 | Andy -------------------------------------------------------- So what sort of music do we play?
We like to play a mixture of music. When we put together the music for a praise and worship event, depending on who we expect to be there, the music could include:-
* a number of contemporary worship songs (e.g. Blessed be th Lord, Strength will rise, Come now is the time to worship, Shout to the Lord, Revival, Take us to the river, The Righteousness of God) * lots of good comtemporary music for litugy, such as that coming from CJM (see links page), Spring Harvest, Survivor and liturgical music we have adapted for other settings * comtemporary pop songs given Christian lyrics e.g Robbie Williams' 'Let me entertain you' becoming 'Let me praise You'; Oasis 'Wonderwall' becoming 'You're so wonderful' and Robbie's 'Angels' becoming 'Loving Jesus' ("I'm loving Jesus instead"!)
* Paul also writes music, based around the psalms, which we use.
E-mail us for a list of our current repertoire of about 100 songs.
We also like to keep things a bit flexible, so that we can adapt as required for the needs of the service/setting.
If you are thinking about us for an event you are organising, we can discuss with you a list of music which would be appropriate for the event and are always open to suggestions. |
