About Trigger Point therapy products and Mr. Theo Bothma.

TPT Trigger Point Therapy products have been formulated for the release of activated trigger points. They include a spray, a rub and a gel.
This product has been developed by Mr.Theo Bothma.
Mr. Bothma received his formal education through the Institute of Fire Engineers located in London, England. He has worked for many years in the research and development of safety products and clothing in South Africa.
Eight years ago, he brought his mind to bear on the problems of chronic pain. Through extensive reading and study of trigger points and their relationship to the release of pain, he finally developed a spray comprising essential oils in an ethyl alcohol carrier. Mr. Bothma has continued his research and formulated the product into a rub and gel format. All have been effective in the release of activated trigger points with the result being the release of pain.
In order to get the optimum results from this product, it is important to have a general understanding of trigger points and to also follow the instructions in applying the product. This is not a topical pain control product and therefore is not to be used in the same manner. You must determine the trigger points location to be treated which is the source of the pain experience. The product must be applied to these locations in the order instructed. This is especially important in the release of muscular pains. In the instance of joint problems the rub is best applied directly on the affected area; i.e. hands, knees, toes. An exception to this is the shoulder, as shown in the instruction leaflet accompanying the product.
The result should be obtained in five to thirty minutes depending on the depth of the trigger point.
The product is safe when used as directed and contains no analgesics or any other drug for that matter.
Mr. Bothma is continuing his research into the location and treatment of trigger points and is working on the publication of a more in depth manual on this topic. This manual will be specifically aimed at the practitioners in pain control clinics and other trigger point therapy professionals.
