Keeping vehicles from freezing up
This is a Diamond T recovery vehicle being kept warmed up, to stop it from freezing (even with anti-freeze in!) using two petrol heater units supplying hot air to the radiator via long flexible ducts.

This place was a watering hole for any passing UN Forces and situated near the 38th papallel. It was staffed by Naafi personnel who wore a RASC cap badge.

The card illustrated was left by the North Korean & Chinese forces along the line to undermine and demoralise our troops in 1952.
It has been supplied by the Christchurch Branch of the NZ Korean Veterans.
