Remembrance Day 2003

John Bowler MC, leading fellow ex Welch Regiment members heading one of the BKVA groups along Whitehall London for the 2003 Remembrance Day Cenotaph Wreath Laying Ceremony. This photograph is a still from a video film shot on that occasion by Charley (Al) Haynes, also ex Welch Regiment.

Standard dedication

Our Standard was dedicated at the Garrison Church, Aldershot.

The picture was painted by Roger Phelps: Royal Signals, and In the picture are Col K Briant:CBE REME, George Elcombe:Royal Fusiliers, G Smith:Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, Alan Guy: Royal Army Medical Corps.

Memorial Service at Gloucester Valley, Korea

A group of Gloster Regiment veterans paying tribute in 2002 to those of their comrades who did not return from Korea.

Edinburgh Tattoo

Several Korean Veterans and wives went to the Edinburgh Tattoo in 2003 and witnessed a supberb display of Korean dancers whom we were proud to watch and duly joined in the loud applause.

The Korean Ambassador was most immpressed with the display of the sketches Roger had made in his Country

This group was taken in Kure I think, and the only person known is Chas Pepper (second from right back row). We are trying to find the others.
